AVENUE CONDUCTS IBM MAXIMO TRAINING FOR HURC

From June 23 to 27, 2025, Avenue JSC successfully conducted an IBM Maximo training for the end users at Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Company Limited No. 1 (HURC) – the company is responsible for operating and maintaining Metro Line No. 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), the first metro line in Ho Chi Minh City.

📌 The Maximo system was implemented by the EPC contractor Hitachi during the project construction phase. In the operation stage, Avenue, with extensive experience from over 200 Maximo projects in Vietnam and internationally, began working with HURC. This training marks the starting point of a long-term collaboration between Avenue & HURC.

🎯The training aimed to support key departments at HURC – including Maintenance, Financial Planning, Administration, Technical & Safety, and Operations – in mastering business processes and daily operations using the Maximo system. It also helped standardize asset and maintenance management processes in line with international best practices, laying a solid foundation for future system upgrades and integrations.

💡On the final training day, Avenue introduced the latest version of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) – a modern Asset Performance Management (APM) platform, integrating AI and IoT to enable predictive maintenance, real-time asset monitoring, and advanced data analytics

👉 Through these activities, Avenue and HURC plan to upgrade the existing Maximo system of HURC to the latest Maximo Application Suite (MAS), with integration of BIM and GIS systems, and expansion of AI and IoT applications to enhance the operations and maintenance of Metro Line No. 1.
