Vấn đề kho vật tư: Lãng phí vô hình, chi phí hiện hữu
Trong nhiều nhà máy, kho vật tư thường được xem là “khu vực phụ trợ” – cho đến khi bài toán vật tư trùng lắp, phân tán, khó truy xuất trở thành gánh nặng tài chính thực sự.
Một vật tư có thể tồn tại với 3–5 mã khác nhau chỉ vì được nhập bởi nhiều bộ phận hoặc thời điểm khác nhau. Điều này dẫn đến:
- Không phát hiện được vật tư tồn kho => mua mới không cần thiết
- Trùng lặp vật tư => tăng tồn kho không kiểm soát
- Thống kê và lập kế hoạch bảo trì gặp khó khăn vì thiếu chuẩn hóa
- Quá trình kiểm kê, tra cứu kéo dài và dễ sai sót
- Tăng chi phí lưu kho, chi phí đặt hàng, chi phí quản lý…
Theo nhiều nghiên cứu, chi phí lưu kho và bảo trì có thể chiếm đến 30–50% tổng chi phí vận hành nhà máy, trong đó có một phần đáng kể là do quản lý vật tư chưa hiệu quả.

🔧 Chuẩn hóa danh mục vật tư – bước đầu để kiểm soát và tối ưu
Nhiều doanh nghiệp tiên phong đã nhận ra rằng: Chuẩn hóa danh mục vật tư không phải là “IT project”, mà là “Cost-saving project”, điều đó có nghĩa là nó không chỉ là bài toán về dữ liệu, mà là chìa khóa để cắt giảm chi phí và vận hành tinh gọn.
📍 PVFCCo – Tổng Công ty Phân bón và Hóa chất Dầu khí
Chuẩn hóa vật tư được thực hiện theo chuẩn Shell MESC, giúp chuẩn hóa từ cấp độ mô tả kỹ thuật, part number đến mã nhà sản xuất, phân loại UNSPSC – đặt nền tảng cho mua sắm tập trung và kiểm soát kho từ ERP.
📍 DVK – Công ty Dịch vụ Khí (thuộc PV GAS)
Giải pháp eCAT được áp dụng cho gần 12.000 mã vật tư từ 3 đơn vị thành viên (DVK, KĐN, KCM), giúp loại bỏ mã trùng, gom nhóm vật tư tương đương và cập nhật lại vào trong hệ thống Maximo. Nhờ đó, các đơn vị không chỉ tối ưu vận hành kho mà còn xây dựng nền tảng chia sẻ vật tư nội bộ hiệu quả hơn.
📍 PVEP POC – Công ty thăm dò khai thác dầu khí trong nước (thuộc PVEP)
Đối mặt với hơn 20.000 mã vật tư phân tán, trùng lắp ở nhiều site khác nhau. Việc thiếu chuẩn hóa dẫn đến không thể có cái nhìn tổng thể, không tận dụng được vật tư có sẵn, và mất cơ hội mua sắm tập trung.
