🚀 JVPC Kickoff of MAS 9.1 Upgrade Project

đź“… On October 2, 2025, Avenue JSC officially launched the project to upgrade IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.1 for Japan Vietnam Petroleum Co., Ltd. (JVPC).

JVPC has been one of the pioneers in Vietnam’s Oil & Gas industry in adopting IBM Maximo since 2004 for asset management and maintenance operations. Over the past 20 years, Maximo has become a solid foundation ensuring JVPC’s operational efficiency. Avenue has consistently supported JVPC with successive version upgrades aligned with IBM’s roadmap. Today, we move forward with the latest version – Maximo Application Suite 9.1.

🔑 Project Scope:

The MAS roadmap for JVPC is structured into two phases:

  • Phase 1 (current): Upgrade the existing system Maximo 7.6.1.1 to MAS 9.1 – Manage, covering all modules JVPC is currently using for asset management, maintenance, inventory, procurement, reporting, etc.
  • Phase 2 (future): Expansion to advanced APM applications such as Monitor, Health, Predict to further enhance asset performance and reliability.

  • JVPC continues to reaffirm its position as a pioneer in upgrading and applying the latest version of IBM Maximo Application Suite in Vietnam’s Oil & Gas industry.
  • Avenue – an IBM Gold Partner with more than 21 years of experience and 250+ successful Maximo projects – is currently the only provider in Vietnam that has successfully implemented MAS, and also the only one executing MAS upgrade projects, including this strategic project for JVPC.
  • This MAS upgrade project highlights Avenue’s capability not only in delivering safe and effective system migration, but also in enabling JVPC to optimize maintenance management and be fully prepared to leverage new APM features for enhanced operational excellence in the future.
