Position: Industrial Analytics & APM Engineer / Consultant

Level: Middle / Senior

Direct Report: Team Leader / Project Manager

Work Location: Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi (Candidate will work at one of the following addresses):

• HCMC Office: No. 03 Garden Plaza 01 Internal Street, Garden Plaza 01 Quarter, Tan Hung Ward, HCMC.
• Hanoi Office: House 17-B, Low-rise Residential Area at Land Plot A10, Nam Trung Yen Urban Area, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

• Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
• Electrical / Automation / Control Engineering
• Thermal / Energy / Thermal Power Engineering
• Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Process Engineering
• Industrial Systems Engineering or related engineering disciplines

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of working or project implementation experience in industrial plant/facility environments, with preference for Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, and Heavy Industry.
• Prior participation in projects related to plant operations, process engineering, maintenance, reliability, automation, or industrial digital transformation is preferred.
• Experience in site surveys, requirement analysis, system implementation/testing, and working directly with clients/contractors is an advantage.
• Familiarity or working experience with systems such as EAM/CMMS, Historian, SCADA/DCS, Simulation/Digital Twin, APM/PdM, or industrial data platforms is a strong plus.

Professional & Technical Competencies:

• Solid understanding of equipment, processes, or engineering systems in industrial plants.
• Clear grasp of the interrelationships between assets, data, operations, processes, and maintenance to formulate actionable solutions.
• Domain knowledge in condition monitoring, reliability engineering, predictive maintenance (PdM), equipment/process performance, or operational optimization is an advantage.
• Capability to handle industrial data, control/monitoring systems, and various plant data sources.
• Ability to develop and deliver demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), technical specifications, and solution proposals.
• Strong technical communication, debate, and presentation skills with well-grounded rationale.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, programming, visualization, and AI to support engineering work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for technical documentation, reporting, and presentations.

Languages:

• Good English reading and comprehension skills for technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate in English for professional work is an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in executing client projects in Industrial Digital Transformation, APM, IIoT, and Predictive Maintenance.
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate equipment, operating processes, and existing client systems.
• Analyze operational, process, reliability, maintenance, and asset performance challenges; proactively research to enhance solution quality.
• Apply data, technology, analytics methods, and AI tools to design targeted solutions for each technical problem.
• Collect, integrate, process, and leverage data from industrial systems for monitoring, analytics, and optimization.
• Build dashboards, demos/PoCs, calculation models, analytical logic, and technical modules per project requirements.
• Participate in system implementation, testing, commissioning, user training, handover, and operational support.
• Author technical documents, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for projects.

Professional Development:

• Proactively research, test, and evaluate emerging technologies and industrial solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and global technology partners to optimize and refine solutions.
• Develop PoCs/demos and transform technical concepts into commercialized, deployable solutions for clients.
