To be officially released on June 24, 2025!

 

IBM has announced a release of new version Maximo Application Suite (MAS) – version 9.1

expanding its asset management capabilities with powerful new components, enhanced AI integration, and an advanced user experience.

Key Highlights of MAS 9.1:

  •  New Suite Component: Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (formerly IBM TRIRIGA) – to manage workplace experience, facilities, sustainability, lease accounting, and capital projects.
  •  Maximo AI Service – a central AI engine supporting advanced use cases such as work order recommendations, asset insights, and generative AI via Watsonx.
  •  Enhanced modules across the board: Asset Investment Planning, Reliability Strategies, Mobile, Civil Infrastructure, ITSM, HSE, and Visual Inspection.
  •  Security & Admin Improvements: Java 17 support, LDAP/OIDC integrations, maintenance mode, session timeout, password policies, and improved access controls.
  •  Flexible deployment: Red Hat OpenShift support across IBM Cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infrastructure.
  •  Sustainability & Environmental Focus: New features in HSE, Asset Health, Emissions Dashboard, and Vegetation Management.
