Avenue Kick-off WMS & RFID Project for DVK at Dong Xuyen Warehouse

 

On June 24, 2025, Avenue officially kicked off the WMS & RFID Project for PetroVietnam Gas Services Joint Stock Company (DVK) at Dong Xuyen warehouse – a concrete step toward DVK’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy in inventory management. DVK is a key service provider under PetroVietnam Gas, specializing in maintenance and operation of gas facilities.

Since 2017, DVK has implemented eCAT – an inventory cataloguing solution delivered by Avenue, laying the foundation for standardizing a unified and accurate inventory master database. The system now has been fully standardized and stabilized, DVK moves into the next phase of its digitalization roadmap by deploying a smart warehouse management system (WMS) integrated with RFID technology. This solution is expected to significantly improve accuracy, increase operational speed across the entire inventory process (receiving – issuing – stocktaking), and effectively digitize warehouse management workflows, while synchronizing with Maximo maintenance system across all operations.

📌 Project Objectives:
✅ Automate inventory stocktaking using RFID technology
✅ Accurately manage locations of items and fast searching
✅ Minimize time for items receiving, issuing, stocktaking and transfers
✅ Direct integration with IBM Maximo EAM to synchronize inventory and maintenance data
✅ Enable proactive stock monitoring with smart alerts

The project is expected to go live in early December 2025, marking an important milestone in DVK’s digital transformation journey. After the successful deployment at Dong Xuyen warehouse, DVK will expand this WMS system to other warehouses in Ca Mau, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, and Dung Quat, aiming to unify inventory management across DVK’s nationwide warehouse network.
